Maya discovers that Dulari, the girl she met earlier, is missing. Against warnings, she investigates, encountering resistance from Pujari and Mukhiya, who caution her about Baram Baba's matters. Maya is oblivious that Dulari disappeared the night she peacefully slept. Upon reaching the village, chaos ensues as accusations are thrown at her for meddling with Baram Baba's territory. The Mukhiya, Pujari, and Sahu, a wealthy figure, challenge Maya's understanding of local customs. Sahu's smooth talk quells the crowd. As Maya returns, the villagers remain skeptical, setting the stage for further complications in the investigation.
