Water ice is also found beneath the Martian surface, and there is evidence of liquid water in the past, such as ancient river valleys and lakebeds. The presence of water on Mars is of great interest for future human exploration and potential colonization.Moon: Water ice has been discovered on the Moon, primarily in permanently shadowed regions near its poles. This discovery has important implications for future lunar missions, as it could potentially be used as a resource for drinking water and to generate oxygen for astronauts.Europa (moon of Jupiter): Europa is believed to have a subsurface ocean of liquid water beneath its icy crust.
