Episode 30 - Damodar lila
Kartik month is considered to be the most important of all months according to our Vedic calendar. In this month, we worship the very beautiful form of Lord Krishna in the form of Damodar. “Dama” means rope," and "udara" means "belly”. Little Krishna was once bound by ropes around his belly by his mother, Yashoda, hence the name Damodar. However, inspite of being tied, little Krishna continued with his mischief which led to the freeing two demigods from their curse.
