Who is Lula da Silva? Brazil's new president
Lula da Silva emerged as the Brazil's new president on Sunday after he defeated incumbent president Jair Bolsonaro in a fierce voting which was a tight race between the two politicians. With more than 99 per cent of the votes were tallied in the runoff vote, da Silva has earned 50.9 per cent votes and Bolsonaro got 49.1 percent votes.
