Why we can't keep blaming the wounded inner child

Albeit in good intention, in modern therapy,everything that happens to us and our responses to the events is linked back to the wounded inner child often over looking trauma we receive in our teens or adulthood as a result of social interactions. The more we load up on blame in the past, we seem to feel powerless when overcoming generational trauma and we start looking at everyone as a wounded child. There is a lot of truth to the wounded child theory but the way we approach it, needs change
