Two of the most critical aspects of film production are location and environment. Proper location scouting for any movie provides the Director of Photography with the necessary space to create an impressive film. Finding a suitable location for a film can be difficult. A location scout is in charge of reading the script and identifying suitable locations for each scene. While location spotting is not a skill taught in most film schools, it is critical to a successful production.
