The Supreme Court has imposed a token fine of one rupee against Prashant Bhushan as punishment in a contempt case. The SC had on August 14 held Prashant Bhushan guilty of criminal contempt for his derogatory tweets against the judiciary. Prashant Bhushan has said that he is happy to pay the Re 1 fine levied on him by the Supreme Court.
