Starlink is a satellite internet constellation being constructed by SpaceX providing satellite Internet access. The constellation will consist of thousands of mass-produced small satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO), working in combination with ground transceivers. SpaceX plans to sell some of the satellites for military,[6] scientific, or exploratory purposes. The SpaceX satellite development facility in Redmond, Washington houses the Starlink research, development, manufacturing, and orbit control. The cost of the decade-long project to design, build, and deploy the constellation was estimated by SpaceX in May 2018 to be at least US$10 billion.भारत में आ चुकी है – Starlink satellite internet companyदुनियां में सम्पत्ति के मामले में नंबर वन बने एलन मस्क (Elon Musk) दुनियाँ के सबसे अमीर आदमी बन गए है । इन्ही की बड़ी कंपनी SpaceX है । यह कंपनी एक स्टारलिंक प्रोजेक्ट (Starlink Project) पर कार्य कर रही है । इसके तहत यूजर (User) को इन्टरनेट सेवा सेटेलाईट के माध्यम से मिलेगी।क्या है स्टारलिंक इन्टरनेट सर्विस ?स्टारलिंक (Starlink) पृथ्वी की निचली कक्षा में घूमने वाली सैटेलाइट सर्विसज है, जो यूजर को ब्रॉडबैंड इंटरनेट कनेक्शन (Broadband Internet connection) उपलब्ध करवाती है। इस सर्विस का फायदा होगा कि देश के ग्रामीण इलाकों में अच्छी इंटरनेट सर्विस को पहुंचाया जा सकेगा। कंपनी ने लगभग 1,000 सैटेलाइट को लॉन्च किया है। भविष्य में और भी सैटेलाइट किए जायेंगे ।
