It's a story of a young girl in a very orthodox society of British India who loses her child with few days of a birth & decides to become a doctor to save other kids to die the similar death. It's a story which is full of struggle where in she had to first convince the society that women can also become doctors and then she had to travel all the way to America in a era when going out of home for women itself was a big challenge.
