Don’t eat back the calories you burntWith the new-gen gadgets coming out every week, they absolutely bring in a new set of energies. It makes you complete the daily tasks on the move, like a boss. Completing the target steps every day is so cool. It makes you move. But most importantly, it keeps on ticking your accomplishments. Our brain is like a blank blackboard. Whenever we do an activity successfully, we get a feeling of accomplishment. A great ‘I have done this’ feeling is all we need, to kick start a day. These gadgets help to burn a lot of calories. But the goof-up I did was, I started eating back some of the calories again. If my watch showed that I burnt 1000 calories, I use to eat back 500 calories or so. These devices are very good to kickstart but don’t be dependent on their caloric burn numbers. They can be highly overestimated by 15-45%. Please don’t do this. The most important element to lose fats is always going to be your caloric intake. No, it’s not our ‘weight training’ session.Let’s get better every passing day.Let’s learn and evolve.
