Episode 70 - Destroy your limits | Real talk
As a kid, I’ve always been surrounded by strong women, who were decisions makers in our family. My Nani and my Dadi were always the ones who took decisions. When I use to visit my native, my jaw dropped when I saw her milking our cow. I thought ‘Nani kyun kar rahi hai?Yeh toh Nana ka kaam hai.’From doing the accounting work of our farms in Andhra Pradesh to taking care of the farmers, their families and being the kingpin of the entire village, I was just awe-struck to see her support her husband.Taking care of the fodder for the cows, keeping a tab of the rice mills accounts and a feast for all our cousins every day, she nailed every responsibility, like a Gangster. I use to ask her ‘don’t you get tired?’To which she used to reply, ‘I’ll get lethargic if I don’t work’. She was a hero to me. From drawing a rangoli in the verandah to cooking finger-licking meals, she was an all-rounder. In life, we are surrounded by a lot of responsibilities.
