चमकौर युद्ध मई सन् 1704 की आनंदपुर की आखिरी लड़ाई में कई मुग़ल शासकों की सयुक्त फौज ने आनंदपुर साहिब को 6 महीने तक घेरे रखा। उनका सोचना था की जब आनंदपुर साहिब में राशन-पानी खत्म हो जाएगा तब गुरु जी स्वयं मुगलों की अधीनता स्वीकार कर लेंगे।
