Episode 76 of the conversations between Yogita Pant and Anil Chawla relates to the deliberations in Lanka related to the war. After Vibheeshan departs from Raavan’s residence, having told Raavan about all the bad omens, Raavan thinks over the matter. Raavan is obsessed with Seeta. He decides to not heed Vibheeshan’s sane advice and makes up his mind for war. He goes to the royal court and calls for all the members of the court. As soon as the court is assembled, he orders for the army to be put on state of alert and orders for high level security to be deployed for the security of the city. He, then, briefs the royal court about his kidnapping of Seeta and the imminent war with Ram. Kumbhkarn, Raavan’s brother, expresses his anger about Raavan’s kidnapping of Seeta. Kumbhkarn scolds Raavan for doing this stupid act and tells him that Ram is surely going to kill him for it. Having said all the harsh words, Kumbhkarn assures Raavan that Kumbhkarn will kill Ram and Lakshman. Mahaparshv, a great warrior, now suggests to Raavan to rape Seeta and enjoy the pleasures. Raavan likes the suggestion, but tells about a curse that if he dares to rape any woman his head will split into a thousand pieces. Raavan says that he is afraid of the curse and hence is not raping Seeta. (Ref.
