Episode 46 of the conversations between Yogita Pant and Anil Chawla describes the situation of Sita in Lanka. Raavan tries to impress Sita by showing off his grand palace and his riches. He tells Sita about his power, his huge army and about his invincibility. He tells Sita to forget about Ram and accept him as his new husband. He tells Sita about his large number of wives all of whom will now be under her. Sita is not impressed. She refuses his proposal in no uncertain terms. She tells him that he is no comparison to Ram. She tells Raavan that Ram and Laxman will come soon to liberate her and they will kill him. Raavan is furious. He gives Sita time of twelve months. If Sita does not accept his proposal during this time his cooks will cut her up and serve her meat for breakfast. Raavan orders Sita to be taken to Ashok Vaatika. At Ashok Vaatika Indr, king of devatas, visits Sita. Indr gives Sita a special porridge which will keep her healthy for years without experiencing hunger or thirst. (Ref.
