Episode 42 of the conversations between Yogita Pant and Anil Chawla describes the kidnapping of Sita by Raavan. Initially, Raavan tries to seduce Sita by putting on the appearance of a learned Brahmin and praising the beauty of Sita. That does not work. As a matter of duty to a guest, Sita welcomes Raavan disguised as a Brahmin offering him a mat for sitting, water for washing up and some food. Raavan realizes that his attempt at seduction has failed. He introduces himself and proposes to Sita asking her to dump Ram and marry him. Sita is furious and tells Raavan that he is nothing compared to her husband, Ram. Heated exchange of words follows. At the end of it, Raavan lifts up Sita and puts her in his chariot. Sita is helpless and starts shouting for help.   (Ref.
