Episode 25 of the conversations between Yogita Pant and Anil Chawla begins with a discussion about how to determine one’s dharm in any particular situation. When moving out from Ayodhya, Ram is followed by large number of citizens. Ram tries to convince them to return. But they refuse to go back and are determined to accompany Ram into the forest. Ram, Sita and Laxman spend the night along with all those accompanying them on the bank of river Tamsa. Next day they leave early morning when all those who had followed them were asleep. They reach the banks of Ganga where they meet Guh who was the king of Nishad community. Guh helps them the next morning to cross the river. After crossing Ganga, they are now in the forest. Ram and Laxman now get ready for the life in forest. However, first they must arrange for food and eat since they had not eaten for two nights and two days. (Ref.
