Episode 12 of the conversations between Yogita Pant and Anil Chawla starts with a moral question about how actions should be judged. Manthra and Kaikeyee, both, thought that they were doing their dharm as employee and mother. However, in reality both of them were acting against dharm. Manthra tutors the Queen about strategy to demand coronation of Bharat. Kaikeyee follows the strategy, throws up a big tantrum to get Maharaj to accept her demands. Maharaj Dashrath sees her on the floor in a dishevelled state, addresses her most lovingly and promises to do all that she wants. She puts forth her demands of coronation for her son Bharat and sending Ram to forest for fourteen years. Maharaj is shattered and broken completely. He tries to reason with her, but fails. (Ref.
