When Nina had to start writing on this, it forced her to adopt a mindset different than the one she held. She was used to the CICO, low fat, vegetarian mentality. However, since she learned about low carb, high fat, she's gotten healthier and lost weight. It's hard to combat this when there's so much censoring of the keto community. We've come to demonize sat fats. However, the science largely doesn't support this. A lot of Nina's work focuses on this.
