Checking In: Mistakes and First Progress Report

In this episode I’d like to share a little personal progress report with you on creating this podcast. I'll tell you what I learned this past week, give you a glimpse of where I'm at today, and where I see us going. Would LOVE to hear your input and topic / interview suggestions so please email me at jackie@jackiejames.com or send me a DM on Instagram at @JackieJames. Thanks, y'all and cheers!  Our whiskey word of the day is ABV, also known as “alcohol by volume”. ABV is the standard measure of how much alcohol, or ethanol, is contained in a given volume of a whiskey or a spirit. And then there’s the term “proof”. Proof is defined as twice the alcohol (ethanol) content by volume. So, that’s what it means when you look at your bottle of bourbon and it says 40% ABV and 80 proof or in my case, it usually has a minimum of 50% ABV and 100 proof… cause yeah, I like my brown juice strong :)  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/whiskey-with-jackie-james/message
